The Crosley model 429 radio is a four-tube portable superheterodyne receiver designed for operation from batteries. The batteries required are: one 1.5 volt "A" and two 45 volt "B" batteries. The tubes used in this receiver are:

1A7-G Oscillator-Modulator
1N5-G I-F Amplifier
1H5-G Detector and 1st A-F Amp.
1C5-G Output

Power output approximately .5 Watt
"A" battery drain approximately .25 Ampere at 1.5 volts.
"B" battery drain approximately 8.5 milliamperes at 90 volts.
